The
1964 RCA TR-4 was a compact record-play quad video tape recorder.
Weighing only 900 pounds and requiring only 20 amps at 120 volts,
it was totally self-contained. (That includes air compressor!) It
was essentially a TR-3
with an additional module frame on the left side of the machine for
the record electronics. |
